The most important part of level 5 thinking is that we are able to start helping each other without caring about the beliefs and backgrounds of other.
I've seen several projects that work with similar methods than the one I'm about to suggest. Such as the The Nerdy Norwegian's and the triads project itself. They are the sources that inspired me to create this project.
What i suggest is that we get into contact with someone with very or completely different views on controversial topics. Talk about their differences for 10 minutes without trying to change the other person's mind, just listening and sharing their points of view and personal experiences. Then just post a comment on the thread saying if the conversation was successful (it finished with no complications)
All anyone would have to do is fill a very small questionnaire, which questions regarding some of the most controversial questions, such as:
Are you pro, or against abortion? Should gay people be allowed to marry legally anywhere? private vs public health care? pro/against legalization of marijuana? Do you belong to a religion? if so which? pro/against capital punishment? Is Wal-Mart damaging small businesses? pro/against war in the middle east?
send the answers by PM and times at which you could talk to the other person.
The goal of this project is for us to be able avoid friction in an environment full of friction and uncertainty. Which is a skill that should come in handy when trying to change the world ;D

I love this! I definitely want to do it, but I'm gunna be pretty busy for the next week.. Do you have a deadline for when you need the questionnaire in by or when we would need to have the conversation done by?

I guess there is no deadline. The match-ups can start when we have enough people (like 20) and the conversation can be done whenever the two people can talk.

ordinarily id jump at the opportunity to have my own debate partner who i can argue with at any time of the day (as some of you who know me may know ) however lately i am (regrettably) too busy for debating so i will have to decline as a side point to this project, if any of these partners want a platform for their debates, ie. if they want a more formal setting, debate.org/ provides a perfect venue

actually its not about debating... its exactly the opposite... We want people to hear each other out without a fight between the arguments. Just listen to each other's points and stories, that's all...

I find it funny that bombastic said he was too busy to debate when that's what he does all day and night in the skype chatroom. I'm glad your schedule has cleared up bomb!
