So, over in the Project: Directory thread, pogotribenews came up with an idea to create a website that is a directory of all the current projects running. Then, me and Gesh came up with the idea to give subdomains to projects, and those act as the website for that project. If you want to get your project in the directory or a subdomain you can either send an email to TheSkeptic55@gmail.com, of you can go to the PogoProjects forum www.pogoprojects.com/forum. Oh, and here's a link to the site: www.pogoprojects.com.

This idea is pretty cool, but not sure how it will turn out... On the one hand, it will give projects and project leaders a much needed central 'Hub' for the project, instead of some scattered Skype calls and informal threads scheduling meetings and such, and this would greatly improve productivity. But, on the other hand: Hopefully those won't be too big of downfalls, because this seems really cool, and works toward streamlining, completing, and organization of projects, which will lead to less world suck, and we all want/need that. P.S. If you want/need a designer, there are some great ones in this threadP.S.S.GOOD LUCK =D

This is a great idea in my opinion, although I dislike the separate forum it has (I think it should be on this forum instead, but possibly as a subforum etc.).
But as halfthecarbs said, it's not sure this is what people want (although I'd want it), but I'd think it could be really awesome for each project to have it's own "informational" page there, so that we could just link people there if they wanted to know more about a certain project, and the whole directory idea, which would then collect all the ideas in one place.

Why do you 'dislike' it? There's nothing wrong with it. Oh, and it isn't just a directory. We're a;so going to give projects their own subdomain of the main website, so the projects will have their own website.

I haven't said that I dislike it, and I don't, I just think things could be better. Like constructive critisism, you know.
