Hey everyone! These are my thoughts on Dan's video "An Open Letter to Educators" www.youtube.com/watch?v=-P2PGGeTOA4I agree with Dan's comment that a strong education for every human being is essential. The information age that we are in right now is changing the way people can access information. People no longer need to go to institutional universities to learn knowledge. Now people can simply stay in the comfort of where they live and learn from a computer. This can sound like a horrible idea (sitting at your home and being lazy) but it allows people to learn what they want to learn without having to schedule classes or paying large amounts of money to sit and listen to professors talk. I agree that some courses are hands on with their work. (which I believe is the best way to learn) If hands on work could be combined with information on the Internet, education will grow. What are your thoughts/ideas?Do you agree or disagree?Gerrt

I feel this way EVERY SINGLE DAY. I am incredibly frustrated with our education system. I completely agree with what you say and I don't think the teachers care enough or are committed enough to take the time to either bring about change or to improve their curriculum. I recently found this (below) and I think it is a step in the "right" direction.Over 2000 Free (really) good edu. videos not only only containing facts but also the hows & whys: www.khanacademy.org/www.khanacademy.org/#browse
