I just think that the "polls" sub-forum should be moved to the "anything and everything" forum.
Debate club is for serious discussion, not for whimsical polls.
just following logic.

Polls are like the not-so-serious-but-still-kinda-debates threads. I mean, a poll is putting up options for people to choose sides on, so, technically, they're at least the second cousin twice-removed of debates.
I vote that the "Polls" subforum stay in the Debate Club. But I do not wish you ill-will, buddy (as the option I am choosing insinuates).

Well, Anything and Everything has too many subforums as it is. I like polls, and I don't want it to be all jumbled with stupid Forum Games.  I really do think Debates and Polls go together quite nicely. |

Well, Anything and Everything has too many subforums as it is. I like polls, and I don't want it to be all jumbled with stupid Forum Games. I really do think Debates and Polls go together quite nicely. Funny, I thought it was a community that made decisions on their own, and the admins were here to moderate, not make the final call... I guess i was wrong. The results of the poll need to be respected and the admins are to do what the people want. |

I, for one, like having the polls in the debates section. Note that these aren't just "polls", but "polls plus discussion". And arguing over polls can often lead into debates.

Also we have created a paradox my friends for now it is impossible for the polls section to stay anywhere. If polls are not debates than the section should be moved to anything and everything HOWEVER in order for people to decide if polls are debates they must debate about it in a poll meaning it should stay here even though polls are more general opinion meaning they should be moved to anything and everything.... Were good at making paradoxes i like that about us! |

Sorry for the momentary derail Zak <3 but yea, either or, doesn't bother me either way... although it did take me time to find this as it was moved. And if worst comes to worst, can't it just be made it's own board. I mean it is both specific enough yet vague to be it's own thing :-) I'm not sayin, I'm just sayin... know what I'm sayin :-) |
