Why didn't he create a bunch of good little Christians..? God gives us a thing called free will. He doesn't want to control every aspect of our lives; he wants us to be good because we want to, not because he's making us. Why would he do that. I told you that you can create 10 ants. Do you want your ants to be respectful, and understand you. Or rebellious? You tell me.

Now you continue with it. Seriously, stop this or take it to another topic.

Go out get your damn bible, come back here, turn to Leviticus 18:22 read it, and tell me god loves homosexuals. You won't be able to. I don't whether God loves homosexuals or not, but that specific part says he doesn't like the act of homosexual sex. It doesn't actually say about homosexuals as people. And we've all probably done something that God doesn't like once in our lives.

To me all this Christians vs Homosexuals is a waste of time. I was taught that God loves EVERYONE, no exception.

I don't have the time right now to watch the video (might do it later) But as many has preciously stated. God hates noone, he might hate what you do. But he forgives you for it and keeps loving you forever.

It pains me so much when people talk about how much Christians supposedly hate homosexuals, when people like me desire exactly the opposite: these are the people we are supposed to love, if they are living in sin, we are to love them more, not condemn them and act superior. And yet the myth is promoted, and it only serves to alienate the very people we are supposed to be befriending. It makes it hard to reach out, y'know? Finally, if you are a homosexual, and have been the victim of hatred at the hand of a Christian, I apologize on behalf of my brother or sister in Christ, and I beg forgiveness. We may suck sometimes at this whole "love your enemies" thing, but know that Christ loves you more than any human ever could. speaking as a british quaker, (and they are a LOT different to the evangelical ones i hear live in america), we believe in four testomonies: peace, truth, equality and simplicity. the third one suggests that we are different from many other christian denominations and therefore we believe that nobopdy should be discriminated against because of their sexuality. please dont all group us as the same religion - everybody has varying opinions. (:

If it was against my religeon to enjoy apple pie, and enough people agreed with me... should it be illegal to enjoy apple pie?

"I was taught that..." is a phrase that really explains religion. :\
Here's what I see. Some Christians support homosexuality, some oppose it. However, the non-religious almost entirely support it. Therefore it's not unreasonable to conclude that Christianity or perhaps religion in general -- even if not all Christianity or not all religion -- is the source of the vast majority of anti-homosexual sentiments.
So try not to get too irritated when religion is associated with anti-homosexual bigotry. Even if some religion doesn't have it, religion is the only remaining major source of it.

I could care less about what any higher power thinks of my sexual orientation. If the only reason I am not going to Heaven is because I love boys instead of girls, then I'd rather go to Hell.
But I don't believe in God, so whatever.
