No, you didn't say that your situation was worse, thats true... but you did say "If this thing reaches my beach I'm gonna be so pissed" which in turn ignores the others. Which seems like a cry of self pity as if saying that it might be the worse of the outcomes from the disaster. In conclusion, it probably isn't what you said exactly, but that you said it in the worse of times. Specially, disregarding the memories of those who died due to it. You take things way too far into a psychological level. Not to say it isn't cool, it's just kinda finding something to pick at. I live in nevada, but if the places I hang out at were covered in oil I think I'd have right to be angry, I mean somebody has to clean that up and my town sure isn't (lazy commies.) Now this spill, I don't know a whole lot about it so I just wanted to make sure, it's coming from some sort of an underwater pipe right?

I don't mean to get carried away, and thats why I said I'm Sorry. getting back to your question: Yes, an underwater pipe broke in the golf of Mexico, several died in the accident. There have been a lot of issues trying to stop it, and it threatens fishers from all over the world, and marine life (some of which can only be found in the area) the company BP is being held responsible since it was its site, and will have to pay for the damage. That being said, it could have happened anywhere else in the world. Which is why Obama came forward and announced that more will be done to get a cleaner source of energy and stronger regulations would be imposed on oil companies. @crracktheskye: only some of the time ;D

I think Obama left out a lot of specifics in his address last night, I would have liked to hear details of his plans to move toward cleaner energy and exactly HOW he plans to make sure that BP pays back what they owe and compensates for the losses. I'm an Obama supporter, but I really think he could have delivered more answers in that speech.

There is a disaster going on by the shores of Louisiana and the president is doing nothing about it? This leaves me with only one conclusion, Obama doesn't care about black people.

Lmfao. I love it. Obama doesn't care about black people. I also love how Ricky keeps referring to the Gulf of Mexico as the "golf" of Mexico. I realize it's an innocent typo, but I find it HILARIOUS for some reason. CAUSE OF THE OIL SPILL ^^^^

hahahahahaha yea, I didn't even notice I was making that typo. Even though I know its supposed to be gulf...
maybe its some sort of secret message predicting the eminent evil that comes from playing golf. Thats why we, all, should start playing soccer instead ;D
