Um... why would you want to hear the opinions of a clan member? I'm preddy sure only people who are in or support KKK would be agenst interracial relationships.
I would hope that no one like that is on here. They be trollin'!

I would hope that no one like that is on here. They be trollin'! So I could try to gain some understanding as to why they think the way they do. Because they're racist jerks who won't take the time to get to know a person and insted judge the entire race based on the actions of a few. Which is illogical because people of the same race are just as capable as people of a different race. Point in case, my racist uncle. I spent about 3 hours argueing with him one night and while I can't remember or don't care to repeat everything that was said I do remember this. When I asked him why he hated black people he said because he beat up and robbed by 5 black guys when he was younger. I pointed out that 5 white guys would be just as capable of the same act and not every black person is going to be exactly like thoughs 5 guys. He denied that was even possible and I haven't seen around here ever sense. I don't like having him around because I have black friends and I'm afraid he might try to start fights with them. According to my uncle's logic if 5 white guys beat him up and robbed him it would be OK because they're white and probly needed the money more than he did or he deserved it but when 5 black guys beat him up it's wrong and the entire race become criminals to him.

I've heard of people who aren't racist, but are against interracial couples because "they'll experience discrimination from other people." I think everyone that I heard use this argument was the parent of one of the people in the relationship.. But, anyway, it's ludicrous and there's no reason anyone should be against interracial dating. period.

I'd date a black girl... if I knew any... and they wanted to date me... I never really thought about till now but I only know 2 black women and I wouldn't date either of them. Not because they're black but because they're way too old for me and live on the oppisite side of the country.

No problem with them. This seems to be more of a debate on why this is on the debate section 0.0, rather than a debate on the issue itself. Althou, it might be interesting to hear someone's reasons to say that interracial relationships are wrong.

A judge in... Louisana I think....well he said that a black and white couple couldnt marry because it would be too hard if they had kids. People like that make me sick! What? I can't be with someone I love because they look diferent than me? Sometimes I wish the world was blind, so we couldnt judge on looks.

Love has no boundries. I have no problem with it. I have friends that dislike the matter just because. õ.ô. If someone from my family married someone from a different race, I'd go like: HEY THERE! WELCOME TO THE FAMILY! xD

^ Super bump... But I've had an opinion that I'm trying to convey in the best way possible. I don't think that it's bad for two people of different races to be in a loving relationship. However, I would not enter one with most of the racial minorities in my area. Most of them look like this: (I'm not talking about the guys... But this was the best example I could find) I only know of 17 Blacks and Hispanics who don't dress like that. Out of all the people who dress like that (that I know), only one of them is slightly intelligent. Now, I go to a big school in an area that has a lot of racial minorities (there is absolutely nothing wrong with that, in fact, I like it). I probably know of 600 Blacks and Hispanics in my school district. Out of those, 18 (that I know and talk to) actually try in school and don't act like idiots. 18/600=3/100= 3%. Half of those people are guys. We are now down to 1.5% A third of those people are annoying and stuck up. 1%. Out of all the Blacks and Hispanics I know, I would personally only go out with 1% of them. In conclusion, there is nothing wrong with interracial relationships. But, the difference in culture turns people away. Out of those 600 people, there are 6 that I would go out with. I would go out with them if I had feelings toward them. So, are all interracial relationships bad? No. As for me and my current 8th Grade immature friends who can barely carry out a mature conversation, it wouldn't work out 99% of the time. Having said that, the figures aren't much different for white people. It's probably only up to about 3 percent for white people. Again, these are just my personal thoughts.

Um... this seems more like a complaint about how immature your friends are and not really anything to do with the current topic. And you're in 8th grade? From what I can tell no one is acting like a idiot, you're just exspecting them to be as smart as you are or judgeing them based on how they dress which is just as bad as judgeing on race. You know back in high school I had a bank manger come and speak in front of my Ecconomics class and one of the things he said was that the richest people who have accounts at his bank don't dress in nice buisness suits, they dress like they're homeless.

Wait. Wait wait wait wait. Sure, I have to admit that had almost nothing to do with the topic (but a little bit of respect would have been nice). That post was one of those things that you think is a great idea at the time but you look back at it and realize it makes no sense.
But hold on. How is judging based on how people dress just as bad as judging based on race? It is impossible to control what race you are. If I told everyone that I was going to kill every person with Converse, then one: I would be viewed as a lunatic. Two: Everyone would stop wearing Converse. Three: I would most likely be arrested rendering this argument pointless.
If I were to say that I was going to kill all the black people I knew, then one: It would be bad. Two: They couldn't stop being black. Race is not a thing you can turn on and off. Three: I would be arrested, probably for life with no bail.
So yeah, the above post made no sense, and I'm actually not entirely sure why I posted it, but judging based on clothing is NOT just as bad as judging based on race.
I apologize for going off topic, and I'll try to not do it again.

So yeah, the above post made no sense, and I'm actually not entirely sure why I posted it, but judging based on clothing is NOT just as bad as judging based on race. I apologize for going off topic, and I'll try to not do it again. Here's another example for you. This happen after I graduated, like 2005 or 2006. I heard about it because many of my co-workers are high school girls. (don't know why, they just are.) Anyway a boy was arrested off the high school campus for wearing a gang color. Not only was he not a gang member but that gang is based in an entirely different city about 40 miles away. This is mearly the first example of a long line where the cops in my area have arrested people without probable cause but that's going a little off topic. The point is that clothing styal has nothing to do with a persons personality. You can dress like a homeless man and still be the richest man alive. You can dress like a gangster and not be in a gang. And you don't have to dress like a nerd to be the smartest kid in class. All I'm saying is that how a person dresses really has little to nothing to do with how that person acts. Stereotypeing people on how they dress is just as bad as the stereotypes about race. Or how about the blond stereotypes. You can't choose what your natural hair color is but with hair dye you can can choose hair color as much as clothing. Do you think someone is stupid just because they choose to be blond?

I never stereotyped. I stated fact. Only one person I know who dresses like the above picture is intelligent. Other people who dress like that who I know play sports or do music. I stated a fact. Only one person I know who dresses like that are intelligent. You also seem to be ignoring the fact that I admit that post was kinda weird.

Not too sure how we got on the subject of clothes but okay.
Clothes don't define you. You are not what you own.

I just don't get why you're grouping people like that in the first place. It just kinda looks like people who look like this or dress like this act like this which is what stereotyping is. If you wanna talk about facts then why don't you just talk about all people as one group not as people who dress this way vs. people who dress a different way. It just reads like you're judgeing them based on how they dress not on any real facts.

Yes, everyone in my area dresses in clothes from Wal Mart. Not everyone admits to it but Wal Mart is really the only place to shop in town. There are some other clothing stores in town but I notice hardly anyone ever uses them and they go out of buisness quickly. Mainly because Wal Mart is cheaper and sells the exact same stuff.
