Okay, so the last "photography" thread on this forum was garbage. Let's make this thread for people who like photography, are photographers, or just like nice pictures. None of that nonsense of posting images of yourself or posting images you found on google images. That's not photography... to start of...

Picture I took a while. I really like it. I especially like how I didn't have to get that weird coloring in photoshop or anything, it just came out like that. Also, does anyone know how expense the average film camera? I've been wanting one for a while, because I'm sick of the poor quality that digital cameras produce, and my mom is willing to teach me how to produce film in a darkroom. Attachments:

I'm going to assume y'mean a 35mm SLR camera which takes the film you can get pretty much everywhere. To get a decent one, you're looking at about £80+, I got my Nikon F3 for £115 and it has an electronic meter and fits most of my Nikon DSLR lenses. You may need to buy your own lens, but 50mm are pretty cheap. Hope that Helps mikemayhem1234 <3

Lol wassup?! But yeah I was sick and tired of that other bullshit "photography" thread on here. It was annoying the hell out of me that they could call that garbage photography.

I have a picture of a wolf that showed up in my neighborhood once. Gotta find it somewhere.

Hey, this is a cool thread. I love photography as much as the next person who appreciates good art. However, if you could focus more on sharing great pictures and less on dissing the other thread, that'd be great. Hostility is never okay.

This is from a photo-shoot I did at Antietam Battle Field in Western MD. This is a tower overlooking "Bloody Lane".

I love photography, but I really suck at it, hahah. This is one of the very few good pictures I've ever taken. I took it last summer in a park in Paris with a crappy nikon coolpix camera. :]

Some of that's pretty nice. But I KNOW we've got better photographers in this community. I've seen them before(: they know who they are.

I love photography, but I don't have that much material myself. I'll try to post some inspiring pictures from time to time though.

mikemayhem1234 really like that top one of the guy with the hat @amagicalcat I like this picture, im not a fan of sepia tho =P. 'shopped or filter? @katefosh I like it, i used to take a lot of photos like this. cant say a lot about it, maybe the aperture could have been a little more forgiving of the background to make the photo a little more interesting but thats just what id do if i took it =P heres a few of my fave photos that ive taken. i appreciate any critiques =) sorry for the massive post =S
