Alrighty, so my idea isn't that great or original but hey...
Anywho, Maybe Dan could take a trip somewhere, probably a big city or state, or Canada (chosen by the Tribe) and ask the tribe about things to do and see that are non-touristy and touristy.
Example: Dan could take a trip to Toronto and the GTA and visit some places like the CN Tower and Canada's Wonderland, but then (especially the Canucks) could tell him of some other cool places in the city and it's vicinity. (FYI Toronto is only 2 hours from the US Border in Niagara/Buffalo and 3 or 4 from the border in Detroit/Windsor)
ooh! and African Lion Safari. (say what a couple of times)
Not an amazing idea but its an.... idea...

6. stand in a busy area and preach the values of the pogo tribe and hand out flyers promoting the pogo tribe
(not every thing has to be end world suck we could try for more members as well.)
7. go to every store in your town buy a small item and then thank your cashier (i mean over the top praise for every thing they have to endure)
8. give hugs to every one you see for an entire day

I was thinking more about the paper cranes idea. 1000 cranes = a wish right? What if instead we had Dan make a bunch of cranes and PogoTribe members could request that Dan send them one. Then we each take that crane along with us as we grant a wish--either as we do something we have always wanted to do (our wish) or as we do something nice for someone else. We can document our crane wishes, send the videos/photos/blogs to Dan, and Dan can compile a video about it so we all can see what everyone else did.

I like both the ideas of learning a musical instrument and traveling North America, although I think it would be even cooler if he traveled to different countries to see how all the different countries worked.
And the musical instrument one is good, too. I recommend flute and piccolo, but that's because I'm very very biased in that regard. =)
Actually, on second thought, perhaps starting to play piccolo would NOT be a good idea.
Flute then.

We should have a zombie meet up. Everyone dresses up as a zombie, and forget our zombie prejudices for a night. We can maybe also support some charities at the same time. Doesn't that sound fun??

A zombie themed meet up.... i do this already with Humans Versus Zombies in college... but I love the idea. Also the ideas of Dan traveling and holding meetings of pogotribe members. |

How about Dan can only eat vegan for a month? Along with this, most of his cooking will have to be homeade, and he can't wear clothes made from animals (leather).

It's a really good idea but some wierdo would get Dan arrested for sexual harrasment or something ridiculous.  As for the cranes, I think we could expand it. Here's some ideas!
1. Everybody I see is making pancakes out of mix from the grocery store... Maybe Dan should make pancakes from scratch one day.
2. Safety Dance in a video.
Don't blame me. I'm fourteen. But these ideas sound kinda cool.

when i first saw one of yourvideos i was just in awe, literal awe. It is rare to find someone who can just lay out a topic and cant wait for any kind of response. When i saw the unveiling of Dan 3.0 i thought to myself... why wont more people think in such a revolutionary way. when Dan 3.0 is a success, i want for it to become a much bigger thing than just one Mr. Dan brown. My idea is to get a domino effect of your brilliance, and find a company, or a larger group of people to take on what you decided to do.

I think Dan should call his parents, and take whatever clues from them and possible paper/home/schoolwork from his formative years, see the things he wanted to do, places to go, and jobs he wanted, and at the very least attempt to be the person his childhood self wanted to be. I like this idea so much that I've quoted it, so people could like it again. |

I think that Dan should do a tour across North America and go and visit every capital in every State/Province so that way we could come together as a community IRL(in real life) so thats just an idea I had inspired by a Skype call me and Dan shared Okay so I love this idea  It would give us fun roadtrip/ plane videos and it would also be awesome to be able to see dan YOU rules ;D |
