Lets have sub forums created to Dan 3.0 each made for specific types of ideas for Dan 3.0. One sub forum could be for weekly/monthly/daily goals, and if we wanted to go even further we could have sub forums for things such as ideas for lifestyle changes for Dan, his diet, or other things that don't necessarily fall under a goal. This way it is easier for the community to find/share ideas in an organised fashion.

I think Dan should write and record an EP and release it on iTunes for one of his monthly goals I was thinking that too o: He should ask the viewers to play parts, too. or sing along. or is that too much like chartjackers?

You could write a short story by approaching people to help continue it. For example you start the story (Bob goes to the supermarket) then find someone else to add on to that (At the supermarket Bob is attacked by a cow). You could continue to add onto the story until it is finished. When it's done you should then type it up for the world to read and enjoy. The only catch would be that you don't know the people you approach. They don't have to be strangers... you just can't KNOW them. Like the guy at the deli counter (I think I may have a strange fascination with supermarkets).

so an awesome me inspired idea for dan 3.0 that would blow everyones mind when they finally got to see my genious in action. well lets see. i like computers dans a vloger and youtube celebrity and god of the south pole of the moon. hmmm what should dan do...
my ideas (in order of when they came to me or when i read them and then forgot and then remembered but thought they where my ideas so uhh yeah sorry if i claim someone elses thought.)
1.dan should spend a day talking to the homeless try to get there story for the world to hear. (some have great stories) some advice if dan where to do this do not touch there bag of stuff. they will hurt you if you do.
2. go to high schools and talk to the students about what they want to do with there futures. i was originaly wanting this to be smaller grades like elementary but parents might not like there childeren on the internet.
3. go to orphanages and other places for parentless kids and talk to the employs and childeren about there life stories and such.
4. go to homeless shelters talk to the people and get there stories. then help at the shelter and maybe donate to the shelters. try to talk to the young adults that have been kicked from there right after high school.
(if you haven't noticed i am mostly talking about helping childeren)
5. work a rebuilding project or a clean up the road project.
6. stand in a busy area and preach the values of the pogo tribe and hand out flyers promoting the pogo tribe (not every thing has to be end world suck we could try for more members as well.)
7. go to every store in your town buy a small item and then thank your cashier (i mean over the top praise for every thing they have to endure)
8. give hugs to every one you see for an entire day.
9. tell every one you see for one day to join you on the south pole of the moon and become a pogo tribian.
10. give blood every chance you get for a month. seeing that your a guy you could also go to a sprem bank and donate the earnings. (you and your girl friend will have to talk that one over a bit)
i will come up with more after i drink more caffine

The first thing I thought of when I saw the Dan 3.0 from VidCon was "The Dice Man" by Luke Rhinehart (a pseudonym obviously). Plot summary from wikipedia: "The book tells the story of a psychiatrist named Luke Rhinehart who, feeling bored and unfulfilled in life, starts making decisions about what to do based on a roll of a dice. Along the way, there is sex, rape, murder, "dice parties", breakouts by psychiatric patients, and various corporate and governmental machines being put into a spin. There is also a description of the cult that starts to develop around the man, and the psychological research he initiates, such as the "Fuck without Fear for Fun and Profit" program." The mechanics of choosing wich action all the sides of the die results in is simple. Choose six diffrent reaktions to a situation, at least one has to be a bad one. Of course this is something Dan HAS to do! It would be awesome!

I think the pogotribe should get Dan on a TEDtalks interview and talk about his life as a video blogger and his ideas around Dan3.0.

I would have Dan follow Orthodox Jewish dietary laws for a month. He would only be able to eat foods marked kosher by appropriate organizations. No pork, bacon, shells, clams, etc. No eating milk for three hours after eating meat. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kashrutwww.jewishcooking.org/kosher-symbols.htmlI was also thinking of having him observe the Sabbath strictly, but he would be forbidden from making videos if he did, so... 6 hours actually, unless youre german, dutch, or according to some others 5 hours and a minute...plus a multitude of other minor dietary laws...wikipedia is not the bes source for jewish law...i'm better ive been studying it for longer than wikipedia has existed Ummmm...... I'm kosher, and Australian (although my mum is german, but the kashrut following thing comes from my dad's side, and they're Middle Eastern) and I only wait 3 hours, although admittedley, even my dad admits that it doesn't really count as being completely kosher, but when my parents were getting married my mum wouldn't agree to waiting 6 hours, (or something LIKE that ;P)

I think Dan should try and see what it's like to be homeless for a day (or two, or a week) although I'm not sure of the filming and safety logistics involved.

I think that dan should visit a mental asylum ... it would be such an eye opener for him and a really interesting experience.
I think that maybe instead of saying to dan " you should help this cause because its a good cause and it is relevant to me ( but probably not dan) " i think we should all give ideas for things that would show dan the problems and once he sees the problems he himself should decide on which charity to help ( if he were to help any). Or maybe once a week dan presents a small speech on a possible charity and every month we decide what charity to help that month.
I think this would mean that all of us could select our forces together instead of everyone being self centered and chosing what they want to do.
we should do what is best for all.

How about putting up all of earth's countries' flags in your room? That would be awesome! Having Sweden's flag, Spain's, India's, ya know..

Because i could picture a group of people forming into a coalition where to get what you want you must vote on something that someone else wants and then that person would vote onto it... no real democracy its just schmoozing with other people until your idea gets to the front and then they leave.

I have an idea...
Start topic discussion every week, but involve the pogotribe in the discussion. Allow your subscribers to submit videos for you to put into your video so that you can discuss the opinions based of each of the chosen viewers. Or better yet, choose the videos that get the most thumbs up, that way your putting the control within the pogotribe.

My idea was for him to write a play, gather actors, and ultimately produce the play, giving the profits to charity as a monthly goal. What do you guys think? Yup...but insted of a play, a movie (so people who don't live in the USA can see in too) using talent from youtube. So that the people aren't famous, that way it'll be a real comunity project. That's a really good idea, easily achievable too.

I think having Dan traveling around and meeting with the pogo tribe is a really good Idea. But I think he schould try to have a new job every Day for some hours and should try to give interviews at Radiostations. The plan is that Dan tells us where he will be the next day or the next week and we offer him jobs for a day. Dan should work something about 3 hours then give a interview and then meet with the pogotribe. The goal should be to give one interview a day to really get attention.

(Click the link in my signature) While the story is in it's early stages, and I don't see the plot going anywhere amazing, the point is to be creative and create a story from different perspectives. As for a Dan 3.0 idea, I think that it could be fantastic.
