I think Dan should do his best to make a 24 hour vlog for 1 day he should just keep the camera or multiple cameras on all day go ask youtube if he can but i think it could be really cool

Okay, so after thinking about it for a while I believe I have the perfect "strange, unique" thing for Dan to try out. It took a bit of thinking but I believe my project would be self-fulfilling as opposed to all the charity option which are really cool and would be self-fulfilling in a sense but in reality are just the fans telling Dan to do charities for them, in my opinion of course. I think that Dan should try polyphasic sleeping. This would be a month-long goal and can allow him to discover some things about himself. The idea behind polyphasic sleeping is that one sleeps every 4 hours for 30 minutes. For the first few days you somewhat sleep-deprive yourself until your body starts to take every moment given to it to go into REM sleep, which is the revitalizing part of sleep. The end result is a ridiculous amount of extra time, and through this you can contemplate and find some things out about yourself like what you like doing more in your spare time and what are the things you would do while the "normal" world was asleep. I did this project myself as a self-growth project and to see if it would work and I think that it would benefit Dan to so it as well. Anybody agree? Also, one more thing. I actually dislike the idea of making "voting councils" or various other groups as Dan suggested. That seems more like a political party type of system and the end result is a split tribe. That seems very detrimental to level 4. I think a better idea would be to have the tribe AS A WHOLE agree on a specific idea. This may seem an arduous task, but it would be the only way to truly have full cooperation and understanding. I would assume there's all ready a thread on this somewhere on the moon, but I'm on a bad comp right now and the thread titles and so-forth do not show up. That might be true...However, the ideas we offer would never get anywhere without "voting groups". Everyone has so many good ideas, that we're all to busy giving them and we're not actually listening to any of them. Take this thread for example, lots of good ideas yet very few likes. If we want to get anywhere, the tribe as a whole should stop saying and start listening.

I think since this is a democracy, we should have some political (I guess you could call it that) structure, kinda like what Dan said. For example the "name here" party picks an idea within their party (the highest voted) then gets the entire party to vote for it. Just to add a little fun to it

Danielle, do you have veto power, as well? Or only Dan? It would be pointless. Dan is much more likely to veto something than I.

I don't like the politics in play today. Everything's bi-partisan, and those two parties can stomp out other parties. I'm afraid that a group of 1000 people are just going to band together and vote up every idea they put forward. And that would defeat the purpose.
But my idea would be to have a 10 minute Skype video call with one PogoTribe member a week. I think it would be a good way for Dan to meet new people, and for the PogoTribe to become more... real. To see actual people can be more powerful than words on a screen. Of course, it can be more than ten minutes, but just start with that as a minimum. So that's my idea. Yep.

Learn some of the basics of another culture that you know very little about or nothing about it at all and eat some of that food (like maybe Vietnamese culture, just because I'm viet ) so you could learn a little about tradition, Tet, and eat some pho (vietnamese noodles) or something X)

I think...tht the community could be divided into groups. it will be very difficult to get our ideas to the top. So my idea is that there could be about...5 groups, each with a different "personality", and the members of the pogotribe could choose a group to be in, and put forth their ideas inside their group. And then the members of each group could vote on the ideas IN their group. the idea who makes to the top in each group will be put forth to the WHOLE pogotribe in which EVERYONE can vote. a little complicated...but, i think this could work. so everyone can feel a little more...confortable around the people most like them in their group

To be creative, one must create a unique idea, object, or the like: this is why I call upon DAN BROWN to undertake a quest.
Youtubers such as John Green have risen to this challenge - a challenge which is not only an physical and mental marathon, but which is also a simple piece of what it means to be human.
During the month of November, Dan Brown, I suggest that you write a novel. Participate in the National Novel Writing Month, or, NANOWRIMO.
The general topic of the novel should be under the capable control of the tribe, who, I believe would choose by focusing on community values, global issues, and / or pressing topics which affect our world.
Dan would choose the more intensive details, such as general plot, characters, setting, etc, because, after all, he would be the one to make it.
This is an excellent opportunity to create a starting point for a larger project, as well as make a real, positive difference in the world. _____
As a side note, this reflects my personality because I am an avid writer.
Amen.

I have too ideas: 1. Though of it from stefey6788 idea. Instead of a 24 hour vlog to put on youtube i was thinking a 24 hour live stream of Dan Browns instead of his ordinary life were we let him choose what ever he wants to do or we can decide. 2. Dan brown should come to Canada! He has a bunch of Canadian viewers that would want to meet him and it would be cool if he came out to Canada and had a huge gathering

tossing some ideas up into the air: record a daily log of amount of waste produced. any way to coach some sort of rec team? dan surrounded by lots of teeny little children. haha. give a child a (holiday) that he/she may have not been able to have. learn to decorate cakes or desserts. over the course of four weeks maybe find 4 families with 4 different ways of life and live each style for one week. can dan learn a new language, then travel to the country that the language is spoken and live there for one week and see if he can manage with only speaking that language. has dan ever gotten a manicure/pedicure? thatd be a fun adventure. i know men do, do that but maybe he hasnt ya thats all i got for now.

We should do something to stop animal testing Dan, hundreds of people watch your videos, if a legitimate list of companies that test on animals for cosmetics and other beauty related stuff came out, hundreds would be aware of the situation and could stop buying these products! as a tribe we have to care for others in the world and stopping animal cruelty and animal testing is so important! im sure we can do this

I think Dan should do a 24 blogtv show, in which he asks for donations. Then he gives it all away to a charity of our choosing

I agree with treehugger, that we should do something that will benefit the world, but we can't rely on Apple, especially this early in the game.
Maybe start a little more small scale. Get the public evolved. Start a local recycling program of some sort. Most people don't know that batteries can be recycled, and that if they are not disposed of correctly, the acid can harm the environment. Dan can inspire a battery recycle program at his local library or something.

he should not eat for a week just to really understand the hunger of the world Does that mean he should get some life-threatening disease to understand what those people are going through? I'm pretty sure we don't want to hurt Dan in any way, and seeing him starved after a week would just be horrible. I understand your point, but I think trying to do something to change the world's hunger rather than adding another starving person to the group would be much better. I also understand you're probably just joking, but I'm just saying... I definitely think we should get Dan to travel. To meet all kinds of different people and just learn about them and their cultures. It would be a great experience for him, and we'd also get to learn through him. And possibly get the courage to travel and do the same ourselves.

However, personally I think that Dan would be better at writing about something like community or tribes or the Internet. More of a nonfiction book, perhaps written from experience. Just my two cents.
