Sure. Although, doing all of those is way too much. I do like the shoes thing though
We have full control of Dan. Why not have fun?
You realize this isn't all he's gonna do. You can do whatever you want with him for over 350 days. Remember, we have a whole year
Are we gonna make this a personal argument?

Well, I'm sure 15 days will be pointless stuff like this, the other 350 can be... pointful?

sure... im actualy expecting alot of stupid stuff out of this. 80% will probably be like challenge charlie or just pointless stunts or dan buying something he doesn't need.
bascily i think that people wont go with our goals and we may not be enough people to vote what we want up.
sorry that wasn't needed on here but it seems like what will happen.

All those saying that we should be doing something to help the world please note that many of you have wasted a lot of time over here while you could be doing something constructive.
Also note that Dan's own girlfriend created a coalition called "The Dannerzz Party" whose goal is to get Dan to do things to benefit Danielle at whatever expense - including financial! There has been not one criticism of that coalition, even though by the end of the year they will have probably gotten Dan to spend a lot more money than the cost of a PC.
All those calling this pointless please note that many of you have pointlessly wasted a lot of time calling this pointless...
Finally, if dan does get a PC he doesn't have to get rid of his Mac, check the first post.

I would once again like to stress that this has not been made to show that PCs are better that Macs, and the coalition's purpose is not for Dan to replace his Mac with a PC, but simply to buy a PC.
If you do not support that cause... you don't have to! You can just leave, instead of wasting time over here.

For the PC coalition objectors, from what I understood from the PC coalition so far, they want Dan to get a PC because it would be fun, and because not all ideas have to be serious. it is also important to point out that, unlike previous assumptions, they don't want Dan to switch from Mac to PC, they want Dan to also get a PC, in addition to his Mac.
To the PC coalition supporters, the most important objection I see from the Mac coalition is that it would be a waste of money on something Dan already has a replacement for. That is, they think spending money on a second computer is a waste, as Dan already has a computer. The problem is not wasting money on a PC, but wasting money on something Dan Brown already has.
I hope that sets things clearly for both sides.
Then again, I repeat my opinion: I think that, instead of saying that Dan should get a PC, you should say that Dan should get the Windows OS. That way, you can leave him the option to run it in a virtual machine (like inside Paralels and VirtualBox), so he doesn't spend money on hardware he already has.
(Although, just like above, I think it also is a waste of money for Dan to spend money on another thing he also already has, that is, another operating system)

There has been not one criticism of that coalition, even though by the end of the year they will have probably gotten Dan to spend a lot more money than the cost of a PC. If this project was not happening more money would be spent on us traveling to and from Pennsylvania and Nebraska than there will be. I doubt people will vote to have us see each other once a month, but this would happen if this project was not happening. Dan and I have spoken extensively about our relationship and this project. We know, for a fact, we'll be seeing each other less frequently than we would like to. Presents are inevitable. We love giving gifts to each other. Sending me fun things would happen regardless. Do not criticize what my boyfriend and I spend on our relationship.

you must be a young person.. its the only explanation for the lack of logic. (well that or your my drunk ex) it will be fun... thats the sound reasoning behind this coalition. well if thats the case then why start a coalition just vote it in and see what happens.
also you do know that when this hits the 3.0 no matter what you say or do it will become a PC vs mac debate and fight. if we start this project with such squabbling then the project will seem like a gimmick and will do much worse than we wanted it to.
remember this tribe is not the only group in charge of voting in ideas. its anyone who wants to. including groups of deviants like the ones that hang out on 4chan and that walrus site.
just some of my thoughts as near the start of 3.0 project.

Danielle, I wan't criticising what you spend, and I certainly see the point in your party. I was just saying that to everyone accusing us of not being a "world-changing" coalition, in case they haven't noticed coalitions don't have to be. I chose your party as an example because you would know best about this. you must be a young person.. its the only explanation for the lack of logic. (well that or your my drunk ex) it will be fun... thats the sound reasoning behind this coalition. well if thats the case then why start a coalition just vote it in and see what happens. The making of the coalition would have been the fun bit.
