Why don't you want to protect other men? Because Men also protect themselves. Also I'm looking to get more than a 'thank you' if you catch my drift.

Why don't you want to protect other men? Because Men also protect themselves. Also I'm looking to get more than a 'thank you' if you catch my drift. You can keep looking... Women also protect themselves. Not to mention we protect men. So you're only half wrong I was watching the PACS course on berkely last night and there were this group of so called hindu men in India (apparently government sanctioned, but that's not clearly proven) going around from house to hose and slaughtering Muslims. The Muslims ran to their neighbors for help, and lone women (I assume it was intentionally done at a time when the men of the house were out working and being masculine strong protectors somewhere else) agreed, though they didn't know what it would mean for them. They hid men women and children in one room homes. They hid Muslims under statues of Ganesha. The murdering group came and said: "You are hiding Muslims!" "Yes I am." ".... Let us in!" "You can come in but you have to kill me first" And this worked. The aggressors left, they did not want to kill other Hindus and the fact that people were willing to honestly confront them and lay down their lives for Muslims must have got them thinking. Hundreds of people were saved in exactly this way throughout a few villages by a handful of terrified women. www.youtube.com/watch?v=H4F8kJchX4I& (not sure if this is the right lecture but it's the first one and they're all worth watching) Everyone in the world needs to defend each other, we are all vulnerable, not only in extreme cases like this but in little ways, which is how it all starts I guess.

Kinda suprised no one has mentioned this yet but in some cultures the term "putting food on the table" is ment literally as men are typically the hunters. This may be the main reason why even in modern society men are prone to want to be the main providers for their families.
Now when you think of it in terms of hunting women seem to be more adapt to modern hunting which is bargan hunting. This is probly due to years of unfair payment before women got equil rights.
(I never thought of this till just now but maybe this has been an evolutionary process?)
Now when you look at different animal species there are animals where females have been the primary hunters and males are the ones who stay to protect the young. I don't understand how a female can be a hunter while she's pregnant or nursing but some how cats seem to manage it.
BTW the whole thing about how women are tougher than men...
Men have a pain women don't understand, you know what I'm talking about so I'm not going to say it. Women have a pain men don't understand but their pain is caused by giving birth.
Now there's no way to prove this unless maybe you kick someone with both genders in the balls, have them converted into a woman, then get her pregnant and ask her to compair the pain from each but I think that both hurt the same.
Now Men after they go threw this once never want to go threw it again. Even the thought or seeing it happen to someone else you get the same reaction from a guy.
Women on the other hand some how after having their first kid eventually will want to willingly go threw it all over again.
Now this is exactly the same because it lasts alot longer for women but I guess that would be like getting kicked so hard that one of them gets lodged inside you for 9 months before it falls back into the sack.
That being said, women are definatly tougher because no man would ever willingly go threw that much pain.

There are some parts of Society that think men should act manly with no gay attitudes and there are parts of Society that think men should act whatever way they want. It depends on the part of Society, that way I can't say for sure if it's fair or unfair, but one thing is for sure, men idealisms will start out as being manly and that has a huge impact in personal opinions, therefore making it hard to actually understand the true idealisms (same applies to women, only with different idealisms of course).

(Purely kidding of course) Technically, you can,but in most countries and societies, it isn't legal. I AM NOT ENDORSING THE EATING OF ANY PERSON. I AM SIMPLY STATING THAT PEOPLE ARE EDIBLE.

You failed at a perfect oppertunity to quote Willy Wonka (Johnny Depp) "Everything in this room is eat-a-bull, ever we are eat-a-bull but that's frowned apon in most societies." And I spelled edible that was intentionally because that's how he pronounced it.

REally? It's a real word? Can anyone confirm this in an Oxford or Cambridge dictionary.. or at least something that's not online. ...
Then again I don't think being in the dictionary is what qualifies something as a real word.. I think that having a standard spelling that everyone agrees is what qualifies something as a real word.. which is funny because i'm dis-graphic and can't spell to save my life so I guess I just don't believe in words..
Anyway you know what I Can't believe is a real word?
Wordy
I was like..don't you mean verbose? and my English teacher was like: no... I mean Wordy. Stop being wordy.

I thought he was just pronouncing edible wrong. Then again I don't think being in the dictionary is what qualifies something as a real word.. I think that having a standard spelling that everyone agrees is what qualifies something as a real word. Technically both are correct. Having a standard spelling that everyone agrees on is what qualifies a word to be in the dictionary. Hence the reason why "ain't" is now in the dictionary after many years of "Ain't ain't a word and I ain't going to say it." Well now it is a word. RabbitWho, here we ALWAYS say "wordy." People aren't smart enough to know the word "verbose." XD Anyway, let's get back on topic, mkay? Mkay Mr. Macky. Wearing Make-up still is not masculin... and honestly don't really like it when girls wear it either. It's kinda gross... I can't even eat with lip stick on, no way I'm going to kiss you wearing that crap. (yes I have worn lip stick before, not by choice.)

I think eyeliner on guys is sexy Did you miss my whole eyeliner story earlier? I absolutly hate HATE wearing make-up but as an actor I have to some times. Honestly though make-up is preddy pointless. Girls either end up wearing not enough so they look exactly the same as if they never bothered with it or too much so they look like clowns. And when it comes to too much, you look better without. It just isn't pretty. The whole reason for wearing make-up on stage is that it helps highlight you're face from a distance otherwise you tend to look like you have no face. Or at least that's what my high school drama teacher told me. I also heard a quote once where a woman told a teenage girl who was wearing make-up for the first time that the key to good make-up is to look like you're not wearing any which seems illogical to me. I think it was on Full House... Anyway, yeah, if you're going to look like you're not wearing any then what's the point?

rialvestro, The point of wearing make-up than looks like you're not wearing any is so that it looks natural and not clown-like, while subtly covering imperfections and accentuating features. So anyway.. guys: how do you feel about expressing your emotions? Do you feel that you shouldn't because society frowns upon it, or do you genuinely not want to (or not have feelings to express? )? And what about showing affection for friends by hugging or saying you love them? Do you think your society is accepting of this behavior in men?
