My straight guy friends hug. We don't kiss each other on the cheek, but I don't see anything wrong with it. I have an Italian great uncle and his side of the family always does that...so I'm used to it, I guess? Basically, I find nothing wrong with hugs, kisses, or guys telling other guys "I love you". It's not gay. My friends say "I love you" often, usually when we do something to make them laugh. We hug each other occasionally. I'm not saying I go around hugging all of my friends. I usually don't. I'm not a very huggy person, but I'll hug back if someone hugs me. =P
This is isn't just because of where I live either...most of the guys in my school and area seem pretty much against all forms of physical manifestations of their friendship. There's nothing wrong with hugs or kisses. Showing someone you care isn't odd and I honestly have no idea why a lot of guys find it weird.

Nowadays with the whole politically correct stuff and women being almost completely equal, (some still don't think so), I do not think it exists anymore, femininity and masculinity that is.
