Because Breepop got all mad because we changed the "Karson's an admin thread" into a "wtf admins thread" we can discuss it here.
Happy now?

Hahahahahahahahahaha! I'm sorry, this line is just way too funny to go overlooked. Srsly Zak. Stop trolling plz? I'm not trolling. I really do think it's funny that he thinks that if you are not a lvl 4 tribe member that you shouldn't post. I also think the whole "tribe" system is pretty dumb, but whatever.

Wait a freaking second! Where's the public thread where the admins can bitch about members? Something about this seems unfair. D:

NB: I am in no way displeased by the way the admins are running the site, I just gave the situation some thought and came up with a solution. From what I read, some members are annoyed at the fact that the selection process was held in secret. While that bree has stated that the selection process was held in secret purposely. Admins pulling one way, users pulling the other.
If the admins wanted the selection process to be held secretly, they got what they wanted. It has already been held and that is that. but why is the material used for the selection process being kept secret? After all the applications filled in were filled by the users, so there is no harm in it going back to the users.
To fix this situation, I would post ALL the applications.. Karson included and everyone can mix, match and compare. The decision has ALREADY been made, so nothing can change that but at least the users who didn't like the choice could see how the competition was, and maybe understand better the choice.
The admins get to keep the selection process secret, the users get to formulate the answer they want. Both parties are happy.

When I became a new admin, this is what I was told about the application process: When the original admins were picked for the first time, Dan kept the process secret. If Dan didn't have to tell anyone why/how he chose the original admins, why should we have to tell anyone why/how we chose the new one(s)?

My suggestion was NOT about telling the users why or how the admins were selected. My suggestion simply stated that all the applications (that the candidates wrote) should be posted out together. Giving back the users what they wrote for comparison won't harm anyone, yet it will keep them happy. After all, the people who were questioning Karson's selection might actually agree with the admins - its just that you need to give them something to agree on.

As an applicant, I have no issue with my application being made public. But I don't feel like posting it myself at this time.

As an applicant, I have no issue with my application being made public. But I don't feel like posting it myself at this time. It is something the admins need to do, that is... if it is done. Unless it contains specified addresses, credit card numbers, ID/social security numbers or pornography there really shouldn't be anything to hide.

We're not revealing the applications. Absolutely not. I'm way way way way way way way way way way too busy to deal with this stuff right now, and quite frankly, I'm tired of replying to all the "complaints" that, lets be honest here, mostly seem like "complaining for the sake of complaining."
The way the admins are being treated as of late makes me sad. We're doing our job, stop yelling at us for that.
Upset Bree is upset. Seriously guys. You made a few days of my Spring Break terrible. Terrible enough that resigning actually crossed my mind.
SORRY FOR EXPLODING HERE. <_< I just don't want to keep this just in the admin chat anymore.
