And I owe Sammi and apology. I'm sorry, but no it's not a troll. It's an attempt to show people how it would feel to be on the other side of the fence if dan made this vid and then to come over here and find the responses that I have.

I think Dan needs to make a serious video claiming if it was a joke or not. All of his videos claiming its real have him dressed up as a pirate and seem as if he is jokeing.
Dan, please stop the madness.

Dan, please stop the madness. I don't want to come of as abusive, but after reading comments on this video and Dan's Re: Re: video, I'm getting quite stirred up. The inability of most people to pick up what is really being said is plain out annoying, and the amount of "unsubbed" comments I've seen really annoys me. He is dead serious about being a member of the religion, but of course, as does no other member of the religion, genuinely believe the universe was made by a giant spaghetti monster. Perhaps you and many others should consider researching the religion before getting pent up in some silly daze.

I meant that for his own sake, he should stop all the joking and explain what the religion is. I have done research, and I know what it is about. A letter was sent to the Kansas school board stating that if Christianity is taught in school, then you should be able to teach about the church of the FSM. The point being made is that you shouldnt judge someone on their beliefs, and all beliefs need to be equal. Putting someone down or looking at them any less because they arent the same religion as you is like me saying you're an idiot and thinking less of you just because my favorite color is green and yours is blue. It just dosent make sense. So there. As I said, don't jump to conclusions. And I admit that it was partly my fault by not explaining that I know what he meant, but that he should make a video explaining his motives to the viewers.

I have to be honest after watching Dan's Re: Re: Tea Time Video, I'm really confused :S
At first I thought Dan wasn't serious and was trying to make a point and know I just don't know.

Honestly, I believe that everyone is just impatient. Explanations of his motives will almost definitely come soon. He has done things like this, though nowhere near as drastic, before and an explanation has always come afterwards. But I believe that if he were to suddenly just make a video explaining everything, the impact he desires and plans for may not be had.

I'm so confused :/ I have done all the research i can. But, i dont know if i'm upset or what when it comes to this. All its doing is making me tired and giving me a headach.
I honestly believe that Dan is a guy to look up to because he always has a educational and open mided view on things. He also expressed those views in a mature and entertaining way.
What he's doing now is just blah. I'm going to stick with him through this because i'm sure he'll have some sort of explination wither he believes in this religion or not. I just want some answers from Dan himself, and not so unconfirmed conclusions from everyone else.
Untill then, i'm going to have to continue this reaserch thats making me tired so i can form an opinion that isnt fueled by emotions, instead by facts. Though, its hard when all the info i find looks like a ton of made up fiction ! :/

It's not meant to be taken seriously and Dans videos are so inconclusive and arggggg!!!!!! It's infuriating cause it's hard to know what to think when you don't understand the message in the first place x

Are you not capable of merely accepting that which you do not understand with an open mind and respecting Mr. Brown's assertion that he believes without calling his beliefs into question?

Perhaps you and many others should consider researching the religion before getting pent up in some silly daze. Well, first of all, his point in the Re: Re: Tea Time video was stating the obvious, he actually irritated me on that point, like... "no SHIRT". Of course people can believe whatever they want. But to equalize the FSM religion with any eligible religion (Islam, Christianity, Judaism, like that), is kind of a mockery to the subject of religion. There is no doubt (it is even expressively written!) that the FSM religion is a parody religion, it is meant as... a joke, a parody, there's no doubt. Also, his suggestion that people should go alongside the Tea Party Movement, praising Palin's noodly appendage or whatever, is silly and something I do not wish for any person being politically convinced, whatever cause they choose to support, and how much I may disagree with them. The most interesting aspect about most people saying that they're following parody religions or the like is that they tend to be no better than the people they want to parody, when it comes down to it. Is it really the answer to sink to their level? Dan will not be able to solve the problem by mocking the Tea Party Movement, just sayin'.

Whoa, whoa. I've just realized people actually thought Pastafarianism was a serious religion.

Wait... people thought it was real? Wha- wha- WHA? I mean, all joking aside, it has no substantial followers. It is real. It exists. However, Pastafarianism was made to show that all religions should be included. By teaching one religion in public schools means that you should teach all religions including those who believe in beer volcanoes and stripper factories.
But yeah, it has no substantial followers.

When Dan brought it up at first, i thought it was a joke he invented. Then i slightly browsed the site, and i was confused. But after the past three days of reading every pogob tribe discussion relating to this, looking up youtube videos on the 'religion' (tho, those were just blahhh) and really looking through the site, i was like "OH, thats what this is..."
but yea. i have decided that i LOVE this video Dan did not because it was good quality (cause, it wasnt) but because for once instead of agreeing and doing mild reaserch i actually went the full nine yards into a topic on youtube
soo, now i know a little more than i did before and it was tottaly worth it.

It does have a substantial following I thought, but mainly of agnostics and atheists who either hate the idea of religion, or imposing religion through education.
