I just saw Dan's new video... Wow. Just wow.
If you don't want to watch it, it is mostly Dan who seems semi-drugged and is talking about his connection with the Flying Spaghetti Monster and how Sara Palin is the leader of the Pastafarians. Here we go.
This has just got me completely confused. What do you think?

"That's hilarious! I think he was acting out what a person may have felt in the movement. think about it. Glenn Beck is the spaghetti monster because he gave many people the idea to protest. Sarah Palin was a key speaker in the movement and was said to be paid $100,000 just to talk. A lot of people in the movement didn't like her. Thats when Glenn Beck i mean FSM told "Dan" (people in the movement) to trust her. Its all a JOKE. its pretty clever. pft. spaghetti monster.... that's pretty funny. "- 516FIN
"Going through these comments, i like how only about 5% of viewers actually get the point of the video. The entire tea party "movement" is very brilliantly displayed in this video here. Good job dan, more like this."-har818 I barely see anyone else who gets it. Everyone else thinks Dan is loosing his mind, and then there is one person who said "Who is this Sara..Pailin?" It's a shame that people are taking this video too literally, even some of the commenters are taking this video too literally, and saying that Dan's view on the issue is too literal. Silly people...

Seriously... what the hell has happened to Dan? I thought he was for the "don't be a zombie" thing, and this is surely being a zombie. If he actually believes that he met the flying spagghetti monster i think he might have been hallucinating from sleep deprivation.
Though I am looking forward to seeing his next video to see if it's just a video saying that we should all not be zombies and stop istening blindly to what some person has said... or something llike that.

He's attempting to be a zombie in this video. ^_^
It's basically exposing the idiocracy behind the Tea Party, and those zombie theists, who just believe crap they're told. It completely mirrors their beliefs, and makes people realize just how stupid it sounds. It's great. ^_^ At first I was a little worried... Dan becoming a little conservative? meh, people change. Dan becoming a radical liberationist conservative? ... a little more worrying and the question of mental illness or impairment comes into play...
(Not that I'm saying people in the Tea Party are idiots, I'm saying... well.... meh >.>)

His tweet is what is making me think. Dan says "contrary to popular belief my latest video is not a joke, I SUPPORT THE TEA PARTY MOVEMENT 150%." Now I'm only 14 and I really don't get this at all. Would anyone be kind enough to explain it to me?

His new style of vlogging is meant to make you think a little bit more. His older vlogs were very direct, to the point, and basically left no food for thought; he did all of the thinking for you. I actually like this new form of vlogging.
I said that in another thread, but w/e

It's obviously a joke. The FSM was satire to begin with. He said he saw the Flying Spaghetti Monster.
Now, whether you think the satire is good or bad, tasteful or distasteful, an improvement or a loss when compared to his usual style is up to you of course.
Personally, if I start seeing a tonne of people carrying FSM signs and paraphernalia to tea-bagger rallies, I will feel a little warmer inside.

I think that this is the sort of thing that either you get it, or you don't. If you don't, well that's certainly a shame. If you do, then I'm laughing right along with you.

Hey guys, I’m Gary baker. Now the first time I watched Dan’s new video “Tea Time” I was like, wow Dan, really? But after watching it two or three times I understand what he’s saying, and more importantly I understand what he’s doing.
What Dan is doing is showing us how religions are created, and how they evolve. Think of it this way, we’re going back in time, 2010 years. I’m sitting outside playing with rocks or what ever they did back then. When my friend Dan runs up to me, he said “I just came from the wheat field and guess what?!?!” “what?” I say, curious why my friend is so exited. that’s when he tells me the story, the same EXACT story he told in his video (minus the computer and everything) and I go home, tell my family, my friends, and some time later my kids. And all those people tell their kids, and their kids, and their kids, and so on. And along the way things change, words get added and subtracted. Like when he said “ I turned around and saw a bright light, not really a bright light, but figuratively a bright light.” in time that figuratively would disappear.
Don’t you think it’s possible at first that Christianity was considered weird, crazy even? Think of modern religions, like Scientology. The religion that says aliens put us in volcanoes and when they erupted we were thrown on the Earth’s surface as humans? Crazy right?
So if Dan did this 2010 years ago, there is a chance most of us would be worshiping the flying spaghetti monster as a god and Sarah Palin as the messiah. G. D. Baker

I actually like this new form of vlogging. I said that in another thread, but w/e Exactly. The very fact we are discussing this entire concept, is proof that what he has done is working. Rather than just discussing how enjoyable he was to watch, we are discussing the plausibility of the situation. How crazy he appears, and how that applies to other religions, and life in general. The message of the video is left unstated. So that people can realize all these facts themselves, rather than just being told them by Dan. Good on him.

I would just like to note the coincidence(or is it?) that my triad, The Floccinaucinihilipilificators, listed Pastafarianism as our official triad religion a few days before this videos release. Given its popularity, I'm sure Dan's mention of it is just a coincidence, but I still find it interesting.
EDIT: Regarding the actual video, I applaud Dan's approach, and I suspect Dan is getting just as much of a chuckle as the other people who get it and I are from the commentors who are like "UNSUBing! FREAK! YOURE A ZOMBIE NOW! GOODBYE!" Though I doubt Dan actually wants people to unsub. XD Then again, the people who will unsub after seeing this are, ironically, the zombies themselves, so maybe it'll be cleansing for the PogoTribe and the ignoramuses who inevitably slipped through the cracks.

I wonder if the people who post video responses are spreading the word about not being zombies in an indirect way...or they are actually zombies themselves doing whatever Dan says.

First of all Dan had nice timing with 420 tommorow and I do get it. But for the people who are unsubscribing and all that, I think Dan should make a video explaning himself, which I expect to be Fridays video. I think he is also tryng to seperate out the zombies. Zombies would unsubscribe because his video requires thought which they don't have. Anyway, I hope that he doesn't lose too many viewers. (btw how did he make it so his vid didn't have ads?)
