Okay PogoTribe, I need your help.
One thing I have discovered living on my own is that cooking is not a skill that comes entirely naturally to me... that is to say that I've been living off of pizza rolls, microwavable chicken pot pies, peanut butter and jelly, etc.
I'll talk about this more at length in today's D3P0, but what I'd like for you to do is to come up with a week long meal plan for me. Find recipes that are cheap, delicious, easy and healthy and link 'em here.
I'm writing this really quickly so that I have something to link to when today's episode goes live-- I'll be updating this post as we move forward.

Get some 7-Grain pasta (healthier than white pasta) Cook 2 oz of it in boiling water for 11 mins Grill 4 oz of skinless chicken breast. Cut the chicken into extremely small pieces. After the pasta has finished cooking, drain and mix the pasta and chicken together. Add sauce and grated cheese. AWESOME.
Oh, I almost forgot. If you don't have a George Foreman grill, get one. They make life so much easier.

Do you have a crock pot, by any chance? Crock pot recipes typically take longer to cook, but there's less food preparation involved than the average recipe.

Chicken Cutlet:
Thick Chicken cutlet Bread Crumbs 1 Large Egg Parmesan Cheese (grated) salt Vegetable oil
Put the cutlet in a plastic bag and beat it with a meat tenderizer. (the hammery thingy with spikies on it)
in a small bowl, crack and scramble the egg.
Then, pour some breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and a dash of salt onto a plate. (enough to cover the surface of the cutlet.
Pour the egg into the plastic bag. and shake.
Once the cutlet is coated with egg, flop it onto the plate and coat it in breadcrumbs
Put oil in a frying pan then fry the cutlet. If it starts to burn, turn off the stove and it will continue to cook, but not burn. once it is cooked through, serve on a plate with a paper towel on the plate. let the oil soak into the towel then eat!
(PS. good with tomato sauce)

Delicious Guacamole! Take one or two or three avocados. Peal and de-pit. Mash them up with a mortar and pestle, or however you wanna do. Squeeze in one or two limes worth of juice. Sprinkle some cumin up in there, to taste. Finely mince some cilantro and throw that in. A lil salt and pepper. That's all! Enjoy. BTW...we played rock paper scissors at Vidcon, haha www.youtube.com/funnyz

there's something i've recently discovered: a sandwich with hummus and roasted red peppers. the peppers can be spicy/jalepeno, or they can be bell peppers [which are sweet]. i personally prefer bell peppers, since i can't stand spicy much. you can buy a jar of peppers marinated at the store, or you can roast/grill them yourself in a toaster oven. should you roast them yourself, you can either leave the outer coating of the pepper on or peel it off. as for the hummus, i've found a healthy recipe for it online: INGREDIENTS 2 15 ounce cans of chickpeas, drained and rinsed Juice of 1 small lemon (seeds removed, pulp optional) 1 tablespoon good olive oil 1 tablespoon tahini (sesame paste, you can find it in the "international" aisle in the grocery store or more cheaply in a middle eastern specialty shop) 2 small or one large clove of garlic, finely grated Water to adjust consistancy Sweet hungarian paprika to garnish A strong blender or food processor. DIRECTIONS 1. Drain and wash the chickpeas, add to blender or food processor. 2. Add grated garlic, olive oil, tahini, lemon juice, and about 2 tablespoons of water. 3. Puree until there are no whole chickpeas, and the hummus is a thick paste. 4. Remove from bowl of mixer and garnish with a sprinkle of paprika. You could drizzle some olive oil and toss some chopped tomatoes on top of it if you desire. Serve with pita bread. you can add other ingredients [lettuce, tomato, etc.] if you'd like. you can put a slice or two of turkey in, i've discovered, and it tastes very good. sorry for the long post! but i hope you try this recipe.

Here's an idea for a meal
You can make Roti, an Indian flat bread that's very easy to make. You can eat it with everything else, you can even put butter on it. Roti: (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrjfbKoAOns)
Also, you could make rice, which is simple as well Rice: (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=95AsGlPYR7U)
It's up to you to decide what you want to mix in with your rice.. chicken, vegetables, soy sauce etc.
You can make curry for your rice, too if you want Curry: (http://www.joegrossberg.com/archives/002047.html)

I know that you are also a fan of the StumbleUpon Toolbar, so perhaps you should look a bit under the food category. You can even search recipes and things like that. I usually use the tool to find funny websites or new music, but i'm sure it would do an excellent job finding you what you're looking for here as well
