My avatar died with this site. Many people are under the impression this site died. It didn't. We do have a community of at least 20 active people. That's good in Internet standards. We are simply aiming too high while having disconnected views and goals. A community can't be forced upon. When our original common ground collapsed, we constantly forced a nonexistent goal into this community. We aren't dead, but if we continue this self destructive "we can't do anything worth it, thus we are dead" behavior, we will soon. We need to worry less and talk more, discover (or even create) new common ground. Lets simply hang out, lets simply talk, and if(!) there's anything we all consider worth doing it will naturally come out to the surface eventually. The moon has already started a renovation built with this aim, now it's up to us all to simply not give up and enjoy hanging out here. Worry less and everything will be smoother. The moon is not dead or dying, it has just been a "little" confused. |

I'm not going to comment on anything except for one thing.
Why does Dan boast about being all about community interaction, then say that when he actually INTERACTS with his community, its "too personal"? Not bashing, but I mean come on. I think he has lost a sense of where he came from. A bit too much stardom in the head. But I also get that its done now. And people need to stop "OMG I FUCKING HATE DAN WHAT A DOUCHE!!!" I mean come on. A trend I notice here is alot of us (including myself) have (or had) a sense of superiority, of thinking that the world revolves around us. Thats why we always argue. Alot of us need to learn how to act like a mature person (or at least someone older than 12) before we can start saying anything about someone else. And I don't mean everyone, there are the gems who are mature and, personally, my favorite people on here.
