i already suggested once that you should eat pasta for breakfast, but if you can't BOIL NOODLES, there are issues that need resolving.....
1.) bring water to a boil (half a pot should do it) (add a tablespoon or so of veggie or olive oil and some salt to prevent sticking to the pot)
2.) boil long noodles of goodness (fettuccine, spaghetti, anything like that should work.....)
the pasta is done when you pull out a noodle (for god's sake do NOT use your hands) and it's wiggly and tender..... when it's cool, use your opinion and taste for chewiness and texture....
when you think it's done, pour pasta into strainer to get the extra water out.....
now you can get creative..... go to the store, add ragu or white sauce if you wanna make it easy...... with pasta you can throw almost anything in it..... now for some homemade things:
bechamel sauce (like white sauce but oh so good):
add 6 tbsp butter to a pan and melt.... throw in 5 tbsp flour and mix until it's a nice sandy color.... add 4 cups of HOT milk (not boiling) 1 cup at a time..... (reduce heat on stove).... constantly stir for 10 minutes until it boils..... at the end, add a little salt and nutmeg to taste..... serve....
cheese sauce:
over low heat, scald milk (scdcalding means the milk isn't boiled, but it's hot and it has a bit of "skin" on the top)..... add as much cheese of any flavor and preference, just enough to make it thick..... it's all a matter of preference...... stir until it's thick..... add optional spices.....

I use recipes out of the "Cook This Not That" cookbook that are incredible for healthy meals that are also cheap. For example, the cost per serving on one of my favorite recipes in there is 66% less than a single serving, and it serves FOUR.
Here's my suggestion: we need to teach you more of the SKILLS needed, then you can do all the cooking on the fly. This will also keep you from just eating the same thing over and over and over. So I propose that we, the PogoTribe, make you, Daniel "On an Octapus with a Badass Raygun" Brown, a personal how-to video series on cooking.

I haven't tried this particular recipe so I can't guarantee that it's good, but my favorite dinner is a sweet potato curry similar to this one. :3 I use string beans instead of onions and I use jasmine rice because I think it tastes the best. If you want to be super healthy go with brown rice. Soy sauce isn't really that healthy either. Sometimes you can use maple syrup (the real stuff) in it's place and you get a sweet flavor as opposed to salty and it really is healthier if you get the 100% natural syrup. The last thing I'll blab about is the oil. Olive oil is good but there are also nut oils that may taste better with this dish. Oh and also, I'm a vegetarian and to get some protein in this dish I add some tofu. All you have to do is buy the Silk (or whatever brand) firm, tofu. Cut it up in small cubes and put it into the frying pan with the onions (or string beans since I recommended those before) www.ivu.org/recipes/eastasia/sweet.htmlSweet Potato Curry From: Jen, Sunshine Coast, Australia I saw this on a cooking show and modified it to suit me. It's very quick and easy to prepare and very tasty. 1 large sweet potato (or 2 smaller ones), peeled and cubed 1 medium onion, diced 1 425g coconut milk or cream 1 tbl red curry paste 1 tbl soy sauce 1 clove garlic oil Heat oil in frying pan and cook garlic and onions until onions are soft. Add curry paste, stir and cook for 2 or 3 minutes until fragrant. Add sweet potato and stir through until it's coated in curry paste, cook for 4 or 5 minutes. Pour in coconut milk and soy sauce. Stir and simmer gently until sweet potoato is tender. Serve with rice of your choice. Potatoes or pumpkin go well with this too - or use a combination m to add more flavour.

VERY tasty mushroom sauce(for borax or just to add taste)
2 tablespoons flour 1 pack of mushrooms 1 onion, finely chopped Half teaspoon chicken soup (powder) Half teaspoon salt Little black pepper
Cut the onion in little pieces and fry it on a pan(suggestion big or high) until it got a bit golden on low fire to get some time. While the onions get golden, cut the mushrooms(after washing them) and put them in a bowl, add the 2 tablespoons of flour, the chicken soup powder, salt and if you want add black pepper(also in small pieces) and 2 cups of water, and mix it well so there won't be any flour blocks. Once the onions are golden, add the whole thing from the bowl into the pan and make sure that it won't stick to the pan(because of the flour with the water its the most sticky dough ever), and about in 5-10 minutes you are done from there.
TIP:
*taste the mushrooms and see the progress of how mushrooms SHOULD be.
*if you don't like mushrooms or allergic, use carrots.

To be honest, I'm a horrible cook. If nothing can go wrong with the food, I can always manage to screw it up - horribly. But if I could choose out of the things that I can make, I'd go for small baked potatos, some lettuce, tomatos and a big chunk of bacon. MMMMmm... yeah, that's what I'm talking about

i got an easy recipe that's really good. as follows:
ingredients: pasta of any kind (i prefer penne) zucchini garlic cream
start boiling the pasta
slice garlic thinly, put it in a frying pan, and lightly brown it, not burning, just enough to release some flavour
add chopped zucchini to the frying pan, browning it as well.
time this so that your pasta is done by now.
strain the pasta and put it back in the pot. pour in the cream, zucchini nad garlic and put it on medium heat, just long enough for the cream to heat up a bit.
give it a good stir and serve. You're gonna have to wing it with the amounts, depending on how much you need/want. But i am telling you, this is delicious, and really hard to screw up.

Simply cook a pot of pasta, and that lasts for one person for 1.5 days. Just make a new random sauce every time.

Breakfast: Scrambled Eggs!-- Easiest thing you could ever make. Ever. Seriously.
Ingredients: - 2 eggs - Milk - Salt & Pepper - Anything else you want to add: I generally put in mushrooms/PARSLEY/bacon/onion etc..whatever floats your boat.
Method: 1. Crack the eggs into a bowl, making sure that no shell gets into it. (By the way, it's a good idea to crack eggs into a glass first to check they're not off/rotten etc, so you don't ruin any other ingredients you've already used and its easy to get any shell out.) 2. Whisk the eggs until mostly combined, and add 2 tablespoons of milk. Set aside. 3. With a little oil, fry any extras (except parsley/greens) until mostly cooked in a medium sized pan. 4. On between low and medium heat, pour the egg mixture on top of the extras, and leave to cook for a moment until the edges of the mixture start to turn white. 5. Gently mix the eggs around and cook as desired (ie: whether you like them relatively moist/dry etc) 6. Spread onto two pieces of toast, add salt and pepper and Voila! There's breakfast!

Hey dan, I have a good easy meal you can make quickly (about 20-40 minutes), its green beans in a spicy style Ingredients: 500 grams of green beans Half clove of garlic Spicy chilli Black Soy Sauce Teriyaki Sauce Cooking Oil (I use sunflower seed oil) Equipment: Large pot Large frying pan Cutting board Big ass knife Small bowl Strainer How to make it: 1.empty the bag of green beans to a large pot and fill up enough water to cover the entire beans. 2.Place the pot on a medium fire until the beans are soft but not crumbling in your hands. 3.take a half clove of garlic and peel of the skin. TIP: hit a garlic tooth gently once with the flat side of a large knife, this will make the skin peel off easier. 4.(optional, only if you want it more spicy) after peeling the garlic, dice it. 5.in a small bowl do the following ratio (I use a standard ladle for the amount) 2 part chilli to 1 part black soy to half a part of Teriyaki sauce- as in two ladles of chili for every ladle of soy sauce for every half ladle of Teriyaki sauce. 6.mix this sauce well. 7.after the beans are ready, turn off the heat and strain the beans. 8.in a large frying pan, pour a small layer of oil and let it heat up. TIP:To check if the oil is ready, drip a drop of water on the oil. 9. once its ready, pour in the diced or whole garlic and let it gold but not burn. 10. when your done Golding the garlic, pour in the beans and start stirring. 11. After you gave it a good stir, add the sauce in starting from the outer circle and going inside, then start mix everything about. 12.After its mixed well, let it sit till quite a bit of the liquid that has accumulated evaporates, taste a bean once in a while to check if its ready. 13. once the beans are ready, your done!, serve with rice on alone Have fun dan, cooking is epic. beef stew and potatoes! leftovers go into shepard's pie! Also: french onion soup, ciabatta bread, spaghetti aglio olio, an omelette, curry, bpnj and banana sandwiches, eggs benedict, pita pockets with chicken salad. Also try making your own jars of salad dressing and pesto, they encourage you to cook with them more often.
